Mr.Brooks is a wonderful person always helping other. On CHRISTMAS 2011 his apartment was broken into he was a victim of a crime no action was taken few days he was arrested lost his home and Job now the system wants his FREEDOM. NO JUSTICE.... NO JUSTICE!

South Carolina Native Facing Ten years to Life for being falsley accused!!

The journey of a man is what creates his history, and the lesson learned along the way is what creates his future. Mr.Alvin Brooks was born in Columbia South Carolina. His inspirational story as a youth who rose from jail and served his time has created a clean slate and headed on a new path through his lessons learned. Mr. Brooks being a process cook, radio personnel and a father has changed his life completely around. He provided hope for his family, friends and others who needed his help and support. He was always a people person and sincere in his mission for helping others. He could go anywhere and put a smile on someone’s face he loved to bring people Joy and laughter by telling Jokes that just came naturally. Back home in South Carolina he worked as a process cook at Shoney's.  He is always a very loving and caring natured person, I guess you can say that’s in his DNA he was born with it despite the circumstances he has been through. No one in this life is perfect and we all deserve a chance to recognize that. Mr. Brooks went by the nick name of A. Bizzle Da City council in his home town which was strictly for entertainment purposes. He hosted lots of events in his community. One of the things he loved the most is music that he enjoys. Music is his way of touching multiple people’s lives at once in that very moment. One day Mr. Brooks saw himself as a person who would have his own entertainment company. Mr. Alvin Lamond Brooks moved to Atlanta Georgia and started working for the Diamond Crystal Company as a process cook. In 2011 he moved into the Meadowood Commons apartment in Norcross Georgia. This path that he was on was a living testimony that God can do all things for those that believe in him. Although he had a rocky beginning God allowed him to strengthen his faith and start a new leaf in this chapter of his life. Everything was going great he just had a baby boy that he adores! His new found reason to persevere even more on this path that he was taking. He surrounded himself around positive people and his family. He was getting his life together when in a second all of that was taken from him.

On December 25, 2011 Mr. Brooks home was vandalized and broken into at his Meadowood apartment in Norcross, Ga. He left his home to pick up his mom for Christmas and when he returned his front door was broken into and the door was kicked in. He called the police and reported the incident; a report was filed including the evidence that the police documented stating “There was muddy footprints on the door and due to the amount of dirt on the countertops and the oddly shaped handles on the drawers, fingerprints could not be done”. Mr. Brooks told the police upon arrival that he felt the juveniles who hangs around his apartment complex was the ones who did this to him. The case was closed; no follow up was done in regards to this police report and this matter.

On December 29,2011 Mr. Brooks was picked up by the Norcross police at his Meadowood complex pertaining to the incident on December 25th. Lamond simply tried to identify eye witnesses who could help in finding out what may have happened on December 25th.  He had a conversation with one of the Juveniles (for the sake of not revealing their identity I will use the fictitious names Steve) to see if he knew anything regarding the vandalism done to his home. Steve told him he had information pertaining to the vandalism and robbery off Mr. Brooks home. 

On December 27th  Steve texted Mr.Brooks and said “this is the number for the person” . Prior to the robbery of Mr. Brooks home, Mr. Brooks allowed Steve into his home several times because he trusted him they had conversations about auto repair being done to his fiancé’s car. In essence Mr. Brooks knew Steve the juvenile that allegedly accused him of armed robbery and denied that he knew anything about the robbery; however that’s contradictory to the evidence that we have because we still have the text message to verify that he did.  According to the Norcross police report (for the sake of not revealing their identity I will use the fictitious names Matt) the 2nd accuser Matt claimed Mr. Brooks approached him and assaulted him. 

 Based on Mr.Brooks previous conviction in 1994 from south Carolina, his bond in this case was denied twice, and he is the real victim in this case. We know this because the DA in his case wrote a note to his attorney stating she will talk to the judge and work something out for Mr. Brooks bond.  However when Mr. Brooks took the stand and the judge asked him if he ever got arrested before he stated “Yes, back in South Carolina” within seconds the DA sent her assistant to pull up his records.  She then now decided not to work with Mr. Brooks lawyer.  The DA offered ten years or take it to trial where he may serve LIFE in jail if he’s found guilty, although once again he is the real victim in this case.  How could a man’s past be the primary factor in a present case where he is the victim? Where is the Justice in that? Why should he serve life and the juveniles that vandalized his home be set free?  Much of the evidence that would help in Mr.Brooks case is being hidden and not revealed to rule in his favor.

 When Mr. Brooks home was vandalized, he had to break his lease and put all his stuff in storage. This broke Mr.Brooks heart to know that all that he was building and the Legacy that he was creating for his children was robbed from him. If you went in his home before it was vandalized you would see all his baby boys stuff around his place. At what point should his faith dwindle? NEVER. Mr. Brooks is reminded that he was brought though for a reason, lets help him continue to hold his head high by supporting him with love and inspiration. Justice needs to be served a man should not be judged from his past only because if that’s the case so many people that we put on a pedestal today wouldn’t be where they are now. Let’s show and prove that everyone in this lifetime is deserves that chance. Justice needs to be served where it is due.
